 I was skimming through some old issues of Marvel Age, and scanned a handful of ads I liked.

A-Team mini comics from Shreddies

 These were free inside boxes of Shreddies circa 1985 I believe (I think the 1983 on the comics is just related to copyright). I have three out of the four here.

Warlock 5

I love this ad I spotted in an issue of Edgar Allen Poe comic from Eternity (Dec 88). 

New Mutants ad

 In-house ad for New Mutants. I scanned this in from Rom Spaceknight #58 if I recall.

Elektra Assassin

 Elektra: Assassin promotional poster thing by Bill Sienkiewicz, I think this was advertising the final issue of the 1986 mini series.

2000AD sticker

I found a small quantity of these at a car boot sale. I believe they're promotional stickers from circa mid-late 80s. Pretty nice quality measuring about 12cm diameter. 

Advertisements for the upcoming Robo Machines comic strip in Eagle comic. These were from Eagle #135, 136 and 137, October/November 1984

Batman Orange Hand promo

I picked up a good Batman oddity at London Comic Mart today for a mere 80p. A promo order form thingy for Orange Hand, which was a boys' clothing shop in the early 70s. Orange Hand is a great name for a villain.

X-Force hate mail

In 2001, the new Editor in Chief at Marvel, Joe Quesada gave a few titles a bit of a facelift, including several of the X-Men titles. One of these was X-Force, which Pete Milligan and Mike Allred took over pretty abruptly on #116. It lasted until #129, at which point the series was cancelled/rebooted/restarted as X-Statix. Here are some letters published in various issues after #116, from some irate readers at the time, who were less than appreciative of the overhaul.

The back cover of this issue featured some superb prize winning entries for a Grand Gizmo competition.

This was a little comic thing that came with Tonka's Supernaturals figures.

Walls Ice Cream fun books 1981 ad 1982

Walls Mini Ha-Ha Ice Cream Fun book 1981 and Ice Scream Fun book 1982, both featuring strips with lovely art by Robert Nixon.

In both books most of the pages are just black and white text pages of puzzles/wordsearches, jokes with spot illustrations of the products or how to make things out of lolly sticks, some illustrated by Nixon and others possibly just stock illustration. These are all the strips and the covers.
